The 13 Juried Exhibition "Shadowlands" just started.
Shadowlands


Is there light or darkness in the shadowlands or is it a state of chiaroscuro? In some faiths, the shadowlands are peopled by spirits or phantoms; others see it as the domain of the unconscious. Living in the shadowlands can mean uncertainties, a sense of feeling disembodied from reality. Is it a destination or a point on a journey and if we inhabit the shadowlands, is it with a sense of freedom and excitement or a sense of regret and loss? Take a step into the shadowlands. I'll see you there.

The exhibition curator Womanwithstick (AKA Jan Sargeant) from the UK selected 20 works out of all applications received from 13 countries.

“All Women” Art Exhibition – January 2021

The gallery’s competition for December 2020 was the 10th Annual “All Women” (No Theme) Online Art Competition. 2D and 3D, women artists only (including photography & digital art) from around the world, were called upon to make online submissions for possible inclusion in to the Gallery’s January 2021 online group art exhibition.

This art competition had an open theme and was for women artists only. The submission process and competition for the artists began in November 2020 and concluded on January 1, 2021.

The gallery received 1,093 entries from 37 different countries from around the world, as well as from 39 different states and the District of Columbia.

Special Recognition "Hugs from Great Grandma"

The gallery received 623 entries from 27 different countries from around the world, as well as from 30 different states and the District of Columbia.

The exhibition has been divided into three media categories. Painting & Other Media, Photography & Digital and 3 Dimensional Art categories. In addition, there is an overall Winning Artists Category, which is the “best of the best” and consists of the ten (10) best entries comprised from all the media categories.

The gallery also included Special Merit awards and Special Recognition awards for outstanding art. Many of the artists in either of these groups could have easily been included in the upper tier of our winners, as their art was also exceptional.

Merana Cadorette's "Fran's Garden" was accepted.

"Fusion Art’s 6th Annual Leaves & Petals International Online Juried Art Exhibition for the month of November 2020.

For this exhibition, both 2D and 3D artists were encouraged to share their best art and photography depicting flowers, leaves, herbs, plants, shrubs, bushes, hedges and other botanical or floral subjects. All artists, over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their best work in any media.

We once again received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, China, Malaysia, India, South Africa, Finland, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, South Korea, Taiwan, Ukraine and Spain. Overall, the gallery judged 740 entries and accepted 254 artworks into the exhibition, which will be featured on the website for the month of November."

I am honored to have two pieces of my artwork accepted into Fusion Art’s 5th Anniversary International Online Juried Art Exhibition.

"We once again received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Russia, Croatia, Israel, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Spain, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Italy and South Africa. Overall, the gallery judged 631 entries for the exhibition, which will be featured on the website home page for 12 months."
