Our friend worked at a Waco facility back in the Golden Ages of aviation.
Years later, this Linco trainer, a Waco Taperwing, experienced some mechanical issues. The crew needed a place to hangar it while awaiting parts, and it was at the small airport Jim rented a hangar...
Naturally he offered some space to protect this old bird.
Here you see the shiny red mirror reflection in the fuselage of this stunning showplane...and the happy beaming face of Jim, getting to sit in the cockpit and dream...

I am just an old grandmother soul that has been creating since I first got a chubby baby fist on a crayon. For decades, I have worked in a variety of media, in many sizes, and in several themes. Some may reoccur and occasionally mingle with others. My artwork sprawls from impressionist over to, but never reaching, absolute realism. It reflects my life, mental state and interests. I adore dramatic color and very often lean towards a blue/orange dynamic. Skies are rarely calm, buildings should look old and lived in, and people should make you wish you could meet them. I don't exactly have a 'chosen art form'. I began with hand-built figures, added watercolors, then acrylics. Along the way, I have tried marble, bronze-casting... I...
