I love pink and old architecture. In the small town where I grew up there is a pink stucco house with white shutters and a pink brick wall in front. I wanted to go inside to see it, but the current owner said no. I don't know why. I am a harmless artist.

'Pretty in Pink'

Home was built for William F. Brantly from a John Norris design in 1857 in the ‘Italianate’ style. The property is also know for having one of the largest carriage houses in the historic area. It fronts on Forsyth Park.
The iron lozenge pattern of the fence has become a well-used design for tourist items representing Savannah.

I am just an old grandmother soul that has been creating since I first got a chubby baby fist on a crayon. For decades, I have worked in a variety of media, in many sizes, and in several themes. Some may reoccur and occasionally mingle with others. My artwork sprawls from impressionist over to, but never reaching, absolute realism. It reflects my life, mental state and interests. I adore dramatic color and very often lean towards a blue/orange dynamic. Skies are rarely calm, buildings should look old and lived in, and people should make you wish you could meet them.
