Description
This garden was added by Mr. James Morton. He reinvented, designed, and maintained it, reclaiming the adjacent lot to the home/shop. He preferred the word ’messuage', an old Anglo-French term for a walled compound.
I like the walls, where the damp has marked the stucco facing, even through the paint.
Through this deceptively simple gate on this less-traveled side street, have passed actors
such as Julia Roberts, Madeline Stowe, Dennis Quaid, and John Travolta, who were filmed
on this location.
