Artist's Description

Featured in my book "Gates of Savannah" (History Press).
Originally a carriage house built in 1848 for Andrew Low, this building has sheltered slaves,
servants, horses, carriages, cars, and miscellaneous other tenants prior to Ms. Low investing it as the First Girl Scout Headquarters, a gathering place for staff, meetings, and tea parties, beginning in 1912.
