Artist's Description

Just another day at an airshow...vintage aircraft on the ground and in the sky.
I used to take my watercolors to the airshows, find a plane that looked like it wouldn't move for three hours AND had a shady spot to sit in; then do a little plane air/plein air!
Usually, I preferred pre WWII Golden Age subjects. Most were done in Lakeland, FL at Sun 'n Fun.
Now I am too old to sit on the ground for that long and it's a lot more difficult to get back up!
